- Category 5e cables are made of 4 of high-performance twisted pair conductors. The cable standard provides performance of up to 100 MHz.
- This cable can be used for networks running up to 1 Gigabit ethernet.
U-UTP: Unshielded Unshielded Twisted Pair – U-UTP cables consist of pairs of wires twisted together with no electrical shielding. This is one of the most basic methods used to help prevent electromagnetic interference.
