The Digitus® Professional Cat.6 U/UTP installation cable is characterized by the following cable construction:

Category 6 cables are made of 4 of high-performance twisted pair conductors, with higher specifications for lower cross talk and system noise than Cat5e cables. The cable standard provides performance of up to 250MHz and is used for Ethernet networks running at speeds up to 1 Gigabit. Cat6 cables are backward compatible with Cat5e systems.

U-UTP: Unshielded Unshielded Twisted Pair – U-UTP cables consist of pairs of wires twisted together with no electrical shielding. This is one of the most basic methods used to help prevent electromagnetic interference.
- Halogen free cable jacket conforms to the standard IEC 60332-1, FRNC-B, LSZH-1 and CPR Euro class Eca.
- It is suitable for building structured cabling in the secondary and tertiary area.
- Compliant with the following standards ISO/IEC 11801, DIN EN 50173, DIN EN 50288-6-1.
